The bergamot aroma is really delicate and lovely—much softer than the usual Earl Grey. Brewed up a cup this afternoon and it was the perfect little treat.

I was curious about the "more romantic" take on earl grey, and this really delivers—the Malawi black tea base is smooth and not at all bitter. Both bags made a perfect, calming cup for an afternoon break.

The single-origin Malawi black tea base makes this a smooth, mellow cup that doesn't get bitter even after a few minutes of steeping. The bergamot is definitely more subtle and floral than a standard Earl Grey. A lovely little sampler for a quiet afternoon.
